The French Ambassador, Francis HURTUT paid a visit to the College of Science, KNUST on Thursday, 21 January 2010. He was accompanied by the Director of Alliance Francais de Kumasi, Julien DAL BOSCO. At the office of the Provost of the College where they were received, Professor Aboagye Menyeh acknowledged the benevolence of the French government to the college and the university in general with the establishment of the French Language Center. Both Parties Acknowledged that the relationship between them has been cordial and mutually beneficial, and looked forward to greater co-operation in the future.
The Ambassador later met the new coordinator for the French Resource Center. He was ushered round the facility which has a reference library, multimedia room with internet connection and satellite TV, an office and a language conference room.
